Fall Photo Shoot

Had a photo shoot the other day. The Fall colors are so beautiful this time of year and they go so nicely with the dark tan and red of the dogs.

Vreni looking georgous in the afternoon light. Her coat has come in so deep and shiny of a black and red since her blowing it after the puppies. She has never looked more beautiful!

A Portrait of Robey

My sister is painting a portrait of Robey. It should be finished soon. I can’t wait! She is doing a great job on it.

An Update on Bo the Brave

Bo seems to be making a full recovery from the Brown Recluse bite he received in late August. Here is a letter from his owners…………

“Yeah….he can be a BIG baby!  He whines while the girls run the cold water on his leg in the bath tub.   He puts his head on their shoulder and just whines…then he whines when they have him lay down to put bandages on.  It is cute.

Oh…one time I was having Justice, my 3 year old, help pick up the front yard.  There was a stuffed animal in the yard and I told Justice to go get the little elephant as I didn’t want it outside.  Bo knew exactly what I was saying because he went over, got the stuffed animal and brought it and dropped it at my feet…HE IS VERY SMART!!!

When it was hot out he would come in and immediately go to where the air came out.

He is a sweet dog!

The flesh on his leg is almost completely covered w/ skin now, we are almost done with the bandaging!

He is funny because we had his balls put up for a long time because he couldn’t play sooo….he would bring us his water bowl, a toy of the kids..ANYTHING for us to throw..ha!

The leg with the spider bite about two weeks after the incident. Healthy pink flesh! These guys did a GREAT job tending to Bo. Washing his wound and bandaging it every day.

Here is Bo with his e-collar…………to make sure he didn’t chew on his leg.

Our dog friends sure know how to milk us for pampering after being hurt! Here is Bo basking in front of the cool air vent.
