The Puppies at Five and a Half Weeks Old

Well, they are growing. That is for sure! Weaning is happening this week. They are all eating really well and are quite chubby and ready to be weaned. It will be an easy transition for them………hopefully easy for Vreni as well.

Adventures in the yard are the highlight of the puppies’ day. As I walk around doing other chores I always have a little following of puppies running after me. They enjoy discovering new things in the world around them. Grass, digging in dirt, horses, and most recently, playing hide and seek among the tall grass out back of the horse shelter. They still come in with me each day. Spending a half hour to an hour each. Sometimes I bring two in at a time and they romp around together trying to find what kinds of mischief they can get into together!

I will be personality testing these guys on Thursday or Friday of this week. I also am still in hopes of getting a video up by this weekend.

Congratulations to the Allegro family for choosing their boy! Green Collar Male is going to a really good home. He will be joining two loved and cared for female German Shepherds.
