Yesterday I drove up to Madison, Wisconsin with Liesl and Vreni to get their x-rays done. I take my dogs to Dr. Link of Spring Harbor Animal Hospital. Dr. Link is an expert in the area of properly taking x-rays and reading them. I have full confidence in him and it is completely worth the drive so that I can have him x-ray my dogs and tell me if there is anything of concern.
This was Liesl’s second set of x-rays. Her preliminary x-rays were done a year ago with both her hips and elbows looking nice and tight. Her x-rays this time looked just as good and I sent them into OFA to get her certification. I will be looking for that to come mid January.
And for those wondering……………the green ear on Liesl in this photo is because she got her ear tattooed a week ago. In another week the green will be gone and you will only be able to see the tattoo if you are looking for it. Anyway, she is enjoying looking like a clown with one green ear.
Vreni’s x-rays were her preliminary ones. Both hip and elbow joints looked really good and tight. No problems what-so-ever.
I am excited. That means that I will be breeding her to Robey in the Summer of 2008!

Vweniboo looks so cute! She is going to have the cutest puppies in the world!
Is Liesl looking forward to coming down and visiting us next week? Maybe I should buy some treats for her. See you and her soon!
