The Puppies’ 5th Week

My feature puppies for the day are Striped Collar Male and Blue Collar Male.

Striped boy is a quite a nice little guy. He is a black and red guy that is looking more and more like his father, Robey.

Here is Blue Collar Male. He is a black and red that is another boy that is looking more and more like his dad as he gets older. He is a happy, loving little guy. He got to spend the morning inside with me today. Finally fell asleep on the kitchen floor.

The Puppies are Growing Up!

This is one cute puppy! Blue Collar Male.

My feature puppies of the day are Orange Collar Male and Fiesta Collar Female.

Here is Orange boy looking quite the boy in the sunshine. I love this little guys’ eyebrows! He is the deepest red of the litter. A really nice, laid back boy. His personality reminds me alot of his father.

Orange boy is a very huggable puppy.

Fiesta girl is a black and tan little girl who is sweet and playful. Her favorite playmate is Green boy.

Four Week Update

The puppies’ personalities have really come out in the last week! It is very cute to see them running as fast as they can on their little short legs! They romp and play with each other quite a bit now.

I moved them outside to the 12′ by 12′ kennel during the day. They seem to enjoy more space and things to investigate. When I go outside to check on them or feed them, I find piles of puppies comfortably sleeping in the sunshine.
They are now eating two meals a day of softened Purina Proplan, Large Breed Puppy Food. Each day I have to add more to their bowl as their appetites increase.

The puppies now weigh between 4.2 lbs. and 5.8 lbs.

Our spotlight puppies for the day are Purple Collar Female and Green Collar Male.

Here is Purple girl playing with Vreni through the cage. Purple is my sweetheart of a girl! She is black and tan with a real gentle, sweet personality. She is already making eye contact with me….which is quite early for a puppy.

Here is Green Collar Male drifting off to sleep after playtime. This little guy is so much fun! Very energetic and the most outgoing of the litter. His little tail is almost always wagging! Reminds me of Liesl when she was a puppy. He looks like he is going to be a black and red boy.
